Fern Dorfman

Fern has been dancing since the age of three and is a former member of the Jazz Unlimited Dance Ensemble. While in college, Fern studied music and dance therapy and started working at the studio she grew up in.  After college, Fern became a full time staff member of Jazz Unlimited and started choreographing for the Dance Ensemble.  Fern became creative (3-6 yr old ) director and also taught the 2 youngest ensemble groups.  Her choreography has won many awards including MOST ENTERTAINING and many special awards.

Fern has started  a wide range of programs in New Jersey from creative dance in preschools to senior citizen tap classes.

She has taught thousands of children in New Jersey spanning more then 40 years and is so excited to begin her new adventure here at CAA.
